Berry Syrups
Syrups can be made and stored up to 5 days in a refrigerator, or you can freeze them in small quantities for use all year round.
Calories per 50 ml: 5

2 cups (500 ml) berries
1 cup (250 ml) maple syrup
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract

Crush berries, add syrup and vanilla; sieve if desired.

Place in a covered container and store in a refrigerator or freeze.

Before serving, warm in a small saucepan over low heat
